World Geography This course allows students to observe the perspectives, information, concepts and skills that help them understand their relationship to the earth and the peoples that inhabit it. Prerequisite: None Two semesters
ESL United States History This historical survey course introduces ESL students to the origins of current institutions that serve this republic today. Prerequisite: None Two semesters
United States History Students learn about the history of the U.S. from pre-colonization to the present. Prerequisite: None Two semesters
World History/Geography Students learn about the physical and political history of the world. Prerequisite: None Two semesters
Economics This course emphasizes the various economic roles we as consumers fill in our society. It also includes an overview of various economies. Prerequisite: None One semester
Psychology This course is a general review of the history and schools of psychology, research methods, consciousness, learning and memory, personality disorders and therapy, and social psychology. Prerequisite: Junior or senior Two semesters
AP Psychology This course, equivalent to a college-level introductory course, prepares students for the College Board AP exam. Topics covered include the history and schools of psychology, research methods, consciousness, learning and memory, personality disorders and therapy, and social psychology. Emphasis is on requirements and preparation for the AP test. Prerequisites: Must be a senior, have instructor approval, B average or better in health and biology Two semesters
