Annual Sports Day September 22
If your student currently is a member of or will participate with one (or more) of the SCL high school sports team(s), Sports Day is for you Middle School folks, too!
Athletes of ALL sports (fall, winter, and spring) and their parents are invited to participate in the annual St. Croix Sports Day on Wednesday, September 22, beginning at 5 pm in the bleachers. Athletes will collect pledges and donations for running/walking in the Fun Run from the stadium through Thompson Lake Park and back beginning at 5 pm. A picnic supper will be provided in the Commons, followed by meetings with the Athletic Director and individual coaches at about 6:30. Running is voluntary, but attendance at the meetings is mandatory for all athletes and parents.
Sports Day is one of two Athletic Department fundraiser; the other is the Festival of Seasons Boutique on November 22. Projects previously funded through the Sports Day collections are the electronic basketball and football scoreboards, assistant coaches and equipment for track, golf, wrestling, soccer, softball, baseball, cross country, and tennis, weight room equipment, and wrestling mats.
If you are interested in participating in this year's Sports Day, please click here for the Pledge form, sign up some donors, and join us on September 22 in the stadium. Thanks for supporting the SCLHS Athletics program!
